AI Music Supervisor

How Clipus chooses background music, which plans include generated music, and how monthly music limits work.

AI Music Supervisor chooses background music for each generated video. It first builds a music brief from the video's duration, platform, pacing, CTA intensity, script tone, and voiceover density. For eligible plans, Clipus can generate a new instrumental track; otherwise it selects a static or curated fallback track.

Generated music is available on:

  • Scale: 100 generated music tracks / month
  • Business: 200 generated music tracks / month
  • Enterprise: custom generated music allowance

Free, Starter, and Growth videos continue to use Clipus static or curated background music.

Grant coverage and usage

Clipus may have temporary grant coverage for generated music. During a grant period, generated music cost can be recorded as $0, but every successful generated track still counts as one usage unit. Grant coverage is not treated as unlimited generation.

Fallback behavior

If generated music is unavailable because of plan eligibility, quota limits, provider failure, or a safety guard, the video still renders with static or curated background music. Voiceover and subtitles continue normally.

Reuse and rights

Generated music may be reused inside Clipus-created videos for your organization. Do not redistribute generated tracks as standalone stock audio, sound packs, or music libraries. Your use remains subject to Clipus terms, your plan limits, and the applicable third-party provider terms.
