Clipus can sync your campaign operating data into Notion so your team can review the same work where planning already happens.
The Notion integration is one-way: Clipus writes to Notion. It does not read edits back from Notion into Clipus.
What Clipus creates
When you use Create Clipus database template, Clipus creates three databases under the Notion parent page you choose:
- Clipus Campaigns — campaign name, Clipus campaign ID, Clipus URL, and last synced time.
- Clipus Performance — performance summary rows linked by Clipus campaign ID.
- Clipus Assets — generated video/output assets with format, asset ID, URL, and last synced time.
Required Notion access
During OAuth, Notion asks which pages Clipus can access. Pick the parent page where you want the three databases to live.
If you create a new parent page after connecting Notion, disconnect and reconnect Notion, then select that page in the Notion page picker. Notion only grants access to pages selected during authorization.
How to sync
- Open Settings → Integrations.
- Click Connect Notion.
- Select the parent page in Notion.
- Paste the parent page URL or ID into Create Clipus database template.
- Click Create template.
- After the screen shows
3/3 databases configured, click Sync now. - Click Refresh status after the sync run completes.
Duplicate rows
Clipus stores a mapping between each Clipus object ID and the Notion page ID it created. Running Sync now again should update existing rows instead of creating duplicates.
For Assets, row count can still grow while Clipus is generating new video outputs. That is normal as long as each row has a unique Clipus Asset ID.
Disconnecting
Use Disconnect in Settings to stop Notion sync. Clipus removes the active connection state and clears saved target databases for that installation. Existing Notion rows remain in your Notion workspace.
