Installing the extension takes under a minute. The extension is what lets Clipus see your live product the way a user would.
Step 1 — Open the listing
Search the Chrome Web Store for Clipus — SaaS Screenshot & UI Capture, or visit the install link from your dashboard.
Step 2 — Approve permissions
The extension asks for the permissions needed to open the Workbench, capture the current tab after user action, and store local session state:
activeTabCapture selected evidence from the current tab after you start the Workbench campaign flow.storageStore Clipus sign-in state, tokens, Workbench session state, and limited local extension state.offscreenRun locally bundled image and text processing without opening a visible tab or window.scriptingRun locally bundled content scripts on the active tab during user-initiated Workbench flows.sidePanelShow the Clipus Workbench after you click the toolbar icon.
Host permission: https://*/* — used for user-started Workbench capture and limited signed-in intelligence snapshots on SaaS pages.
Step 3 — Sign in
Click the Clipus toolbar icon to open the Workbench, sign in with the same email as your clipus.io account, and you are ready to create a campaign from the current page.
